We came to Red Deer January 1, 2006 after 8 years pastoring in Claresholm, AB. Our family consists of 4 daughters: Val, married to Jarrud; Melissa, married to Nick; Jocelle, married to Geoff; and Amanda. It is our desire is to see people’s lives changed as they experience the love of Jesus.

We have been in ministry for approximately 33 years serving in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and now here in Red Deer for the last 10 years. We have 5 children and 11 grandchildren. Our goal for the church is to touch people with hope and see people healed and restored to mental and emotional health.

Jarrud & Val Gilbert F.L.A.M.E. Youth Ministry
Married with three children of our own, we are excited to be mentoring our youth and building on the foundation of Christ's love in their hearts. Val's experience includes over 10 years of teaching Sunday school as well as a diploma in General Theology from Christ for the Nations Institute. With a storied past and a flare for the dramatic, Jarrud brings the gospel message to the youth in a high-impact, heartfelt manner.

Todd & Melanie Child Children's Ministry
Todd and I have been attending Victory for over a year, returning after a three year absence. We found that Victory is where we belong. We have been married for over five years and have two wonderful little boys. Our third child will be joining us early next year. We have enjoyed working alongside Pastor Chuck and Joyce and the rest of the church staff and look forward to many more years together with our church family.

Mike & Maureen Duckworth Nursery Ministry
We bring to the nursery ministry many years of experience. We have 6 children of our own and are still in the process of raising our youngest, Emma. Maureen is also a licensed day home provider in which Mike has helped with on many occasions. We are honoured and blessed to be able to offer quality child care and genuine love and concern to these precious little ones and to provide this service to their parents.
